My newest fall-themed book...Woodland Wonder! I felt very inspired by the artwork in my last coloring book, Garden Gnomes. This book has a similar look and feel but I wanted to make the shapes a bit more pattern-like and geometric. I created both cute "scenes" with animals and pages that feature an animals with a pattern of floral and leaf shapes surrounding it. I love this combination because it gives the colorist something more than a traditional coloring page to work with. It looks more like a print to me which I find fun and easier to work with (especially for kids/teens). I'll get a majority up in my etsy shop. I think they would be adorable printed and painted. The patterns and shapes are definitely scandinavian inspired! The clean lines and flat geometry of this kind of design is really appealing to me right now. Below are some sample pages. I hope this book brings some joy and "cozyness" to the holidays for you and your loved ones!
